“The day of darkness troubles him. Distress and anguish terrify him like a king ready for battle.

He stubbornly charges at him with a thick shield.

Immediately, an angel from the Lord killed Herod for not giving glory to God. Herod was eaten by maggots, and he died.

Why should you be as stubborn as the Egyptians and their Pharaoh were? After he toyed with the Egyptians, didn’t they send the Israelites on their way?
