“ ‘If I sin, you watch me and will not free me from my guilt.

Is that why you look for guilt in me and search for sin in me?

You put my feet in shackles. You follow my trail by engraving marks on the soles of my feet.

Doesn’t he see my ways and count all my steps?

He puts my feet in the stocks and watches all my paths.’

God’s eyes are on a person’s ways. He sees all his steps.

They attack, and then they hide. They watch my every step as they wait to take my life.

Each person’s ways are clearly seen by the Lord, and he surveys all his actions.

You make wise plans and do mighty things. You see everything the descendants of Adam do. You reward them for the way they live and for what they do.
