The prophet Jeremiah answered them, “I have listened to your request. I will pray to the Lord your God as you have requested, and I will tell you everything the Lord says. I won’t keep anything from you.”

I have not buried your righteousness deep in my heart. I have been outspoken about your faithfulness and your salvation. I have not hidden your mercy and your truth from those assembled for worship.

Speak my words to them whether they listen or not, because they are rebellious.

I didn’t avoid telling you anything that would help you, and I didn’t avoid teaching you publicly and from house to house.

I didn’t avoid telling you the whole plan of God.

Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God on behalf of the Jewish people is that they would be saved.

It would be unthinkable for me to sin against the Lord by failing to pray for you. I will go on teaching you the way that is good and right.
