But the Lord said to me, “Don’t say that you are only a boy. You will go wherever I send you. You will say whatever I command you to say.

Micaiah answered, “I solemnly swear, as the Lord lives, I will tell him whatever the Lord tells me.”

“Lord my God, although I’m young and inexperienced, you’ve made me king in place of my father David.

Micaiah answered, “I solemnly swear, as the Lord lives, I will tell him whatever my God says to me.”

He said to Moses, “I am the Lord. Tell Pharaoh (the king of Egypt) everything I tell you.”

“This is what the Lord says: Stand in the courtyard of the Lord’s temple, and speak to all the people who come from the cities of Judah to worship in the Lord’s temple. Tell them everything that I command you to tell them. Don’t leave out a single word.

So Jeremiah finished telling all the people the message from the Lord their God. He told them everything the Lord their God sent him to tell them.

“Jeremiah, you will say all these things to them, but they will not obey you. You will call to them, but they will not respond to you.

Speak my words to them whether they listen or not, because they are rebellious.

But when I speak to you, I will open your mouth. You will tell them, ‘This is what the Almighty Lord says.’ Some will listen, and some will refuse to listen. They are rebellious people.”

But the Lord took me away from herding the flock and said to me, ‘Prophesy to my people Israel.’

“Leave at once for the important city, Nineveh. Announce to the people the message I have given you.”

That night God came to Balaam and said, “If these men have come to summon you, go with them, but do only what I tell you.”

Balaam replied, “Well, I’ve come to you now. But I can’t say whatever I want to. I can only say what God tells me to say.”

Teach them to do everything I have commanded you. “And remember that I am always with you until the end of time.”

I didn’t avoid telling you the whole plan of God.
