He asked, “What do you see, Amos?” “A basket of ripe summer fruit,” I answered. Then the Lord said to me, “My people Israel are now ripe. I will no longer overlook what they have done.

Jesus told him, “You’re right! Do this, and life will be yours.”

Some experts in Moses’ Teachings responded, “Teacher, that was well said.”

The Lord told me, “What they’ve said is good.

I will take revenge and be satisfied. In due time their foot will slip, because their day of disaster is near. Their doom is coming quickly.

When the Lord heard the words that you spoke to me, he said, “I have heard what these people said to you. Everything they said was good.
