After they found out that Peter and John had no education or special training, they were surprised to see how boldly they spoke. They realized that these men had been with Jesus.

God’s word continued to spread, and the number of disciples in Jerusalem grew very large. A large number of priests accepted the faith.

The only thing they had heard was this: “The man who persecuted us is now spreading the faith that he once tried to destroy.”
