When that day comes, the Lord of Armies will be like a glorious crown for his few remaining people.

I put on righteousness, and it was my clothing. I practiced justice, and it was my robe and my turban.

There will be a highway for the remaining few of his people left in Assyria like there was for Israel when it came out of Egypt.

From the ends of the earth we hear songs of praise that honor the Righteous One. But I kept saying, “I’m wasting away! I’m wasting away! How horrible it is for me! Traitors continue to betray, and their treachery grows worse and worse.”

Then whoever is left in Zion and whoever remains in Jerusalem will be called holy, everyone who is recorded among the living in Jerusalem.

You will winnow  them. The wind will carry them away. The windstorm will scatter them. But you will find joy in the Lord and praise the Holy One of Israel.

All the descendants of Israel will be declared righteous, and they will praise the Lord.

The sun will no longer be your light during the day, nor will the brightness of the moon give you light, But the Lord will be your everlasting light. Your God will be your glory.

Then you will be a beautiful crown in the hand of the Lord, a royal crown in the hand of your God.

I put a ring in your nose, earrings on your ears, and a beautiful crown on your head.

Then the leaders of Judah will think to themselves, ‘The people who live in Jerusalem are strong because of the Lord of Armies, their God.’

He is a light that will reveal ⌞salvation⌟ to the nations and bring glory to your people Israel.”

Our suffering is light and temporary and is producing for us an eternal glory that is greater than anything we can imagine.

Then, when the chief shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.
