Moses was a faithful servant in God’s household. He told ⌞the people⌟ what God would say in the future.

You taught them about your holy day of rest. You gave them commandments, laws, and teachings through your servant Moses.

He sent his servant Moses, and he sent Aaron, whom he had chosen.

When the Israelites saw the great power the Lord had used against the Egyptians, they feared the Lord and believed in him and in his servant Moses.

Moses did everything as the Lord commanded him.

But this is not the way I treat my servant Moses. He is the most faithful person in my household.

“Who, then, is the faithful and wise servant? The master will put that person in charge of giving the other servants their food at the right time.

“His master replied, ‘Good job! You’re a good and faithful servant! You proved that you could be trusted with a small amount. I will put you in charge of a large amount. Come and share your master’s happiness.’

The Lord asked, “Who, then, is the faithful, skilled manager that the master will put in charge of giving the other servants their share of food at the right time?

Then he began with Moses’ Teachings and the Prophets to explain to them what was said about him throughout the Scriptures.

Then he said to them, “These are the words I spoke to you while I was still with you. I told you that everything written about me in Moses’ Teachings, the Prophets, and the Psalms had to come true.”

You study the Scriptures in detail because you think you have the source of eternal life in them. These Scriptures testify on my behalf.

On a designated day a larger number of influential Jews ⌞than expected⌟ went to the place where Paul was staying. From morning until evening, Paul was explaining God’s kingdom to them. He was trying to convince them about Jesus from Moses’ Teachings and the Prophets.

This is the same Moses who told the Israelites, ‘God will send you a prophet, an Israelite like me.’

Now, the way to receive God’s approval has been made plain in a way other than the laws in the Scriptures. Moses’ Teachings and the Prophets tell us this.

Managers are required to be trustworthy.

“Almighty Lord, you have ⌞only⌟ begun to show me how great and powerful you are. What kind of god is there in heaven or on earth who can do the deeds and the mighty acts you have done?

As the Lord had predicted, the Lord’s servant Moses died in Moab.

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord that he has trusted me and has appointed me to do his work with the strength he has given me.

In the past God spoke to our ancestors at many different times and in many different ways through the prophets.

Jesus is faithful to God, who appointed him, in the same way that Moses was faithful when he served in God’s house.

After all, every house has a builder, but the builder of everything is God.

They serve at a place that is a pattern, a shadow, of what is in heaven. When Moses was about to make the tent, God warned him, “Be sure to make everything based on the plan I showed you on the mountain.”

Christ didn’t go into a holy place made by human hands. He didn’t go into a model of the real thing. Instead, he went into heaven to appear in God’s presence on our behalf.

take possession of the land the Lord your God is going to give them. Then they will have a place to rest like you do. After that, you may go back and take possession of the land east of the Jordan River which the Lord’s servant Moses gave you.”

“My servant Moses is dead. Now you and all these people must cross the Jordan River into the land that I am going to give the people of Israel.

“Only be strong and very courageous, faithfully doing everything in the teachings that my servant Moses commanded you. Don’t turn away from them. Then you will succeed wherever you go.

He built an altar with uncut stones on which no iron chisels had been used. This was as the Lord’s servant Moses had commanded the people of Israel in the Book of Moses’ Teachings. They made burnt offerings to the Lord and sacrificed fellowship offerings on the altar.

All the people of Israel, whether foreigners or native Israelites, the leaders, officers, and judges were standing on opposite sides of the ark. They faced the Levitical priests who carried the ark of the Lord’s promise. Half of the people were in front of Mount Gerizim and the other half in front of Mount Ebal. Right from the beginning, the Lord’s servant Moses had commanded the priests to bless the people of Israel this way.

and singing the song of God’s servant Moses and the song of the lamb. They sang, “The things you do are spectacular and amazing, Lord God Almighty. The way you do them is fair and true, King of the Nations.
