So the warden placed Joseph in charge of all the prisoners who were in that prison. Joseph became responsible for everything that they were doing.

From that time on the Lord blessed the Egyptian’s household because of Joseph. Therefore, the Lord’s blessing was on everything Potiphar owned in his house and in his fields.

He also said to Joseph, “Even though I am Pharaoh, no one anywhere in Egypt will do anything without your permission.”

As governor of the country, Joseph was selling grain to everyone. So when Joseph’s brothers arrived, they bowed in front of him with their faces touching the ground.

It wasn’t you who sent me here, but God. He has made me ⌞like⌟ a father to Pharaoh, lord over his entire household, and ruler of Egypt.

Mordecai the Jew was ranked second only to King Xerxes. He was greatly respected by, and popular with, all of the other Jews, since he provided for the good of his people and spoke for the welfare of his fellow Jews.

He made Joseph the master of his palace and the ruler of all his possessions.

A wise slave will become master over a son who acts shamefully, and he will share the inheritance with the brothers.

Do you see a person who is efficient in his work? He will serve kings. He will not serve unknown people.

A young man came out of prison to rule as king, even though he had been born in poverty in that same kingdom.

Then the king promoted Daniel and gave him many wonderful gifts. Nebuchadnezzar made Daniel governor of the whole province of Babylon and head of all Babylon’s wise advisers.

This man, Daniel, distinguished himself among the other officials and satraps because there was an extraordinary spirit in him. The king thought about putting him in charge of the whole kingdom.

When Jesus came near, he spoke to them. He said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

and rescued him from all his suffering. When Joseph stood in the presence of Pharaoh (the king of Egypt), God gave Joseph divine favor  and wisdom so that he became ruler of Egypt and of Pharaoh’s whole palace.
