He went from there to Beersheba.
Early the next morning Abraham took bread and a container of water and gave them to Hagar, putting them on her shoulder. He also gave her the boy and sent her on her way. So she left and wandered around in the desert near Beersheba.
This is why that place is called Beersheba, because both of them swore an oath there.
Then Abraham returned to his servants, and together they left for Beersheba. Abraham remained in Beersheba.
Jacob left Beersheba and traveled toward Haran.
Israel moved with all he had. When he came to Beersheba, he offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac.
But don’t search ⌞for me⌟ at Bethel. Don’t go to Gilgal. Don’t travel to Beersheba. Gilgal will certainly go into exile. Bethel will come to nothing.
All the people of Israel from Dan to Beersheba and from Gilead came to Mizpah. The congregation stood united in the presence of the Lord.
