Immediately, Abraham bowed with his face touching the ground. He laughed as he thought to himself, “Can a son be born to a hundred-year-old man? Can Sarah, a ninety-year-old woman, have a child?”

The Lord asked Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Can I really have a child now that I’m old?’

The child grew and was weaned. On the day Isaac was weaned, Abraham held a big feast.

Who has heard of such a thing? Who has seen such things? Can a country be born in one day? Can a nation be born in a moment? When Zion went into labor, she also gave birth to her children.

Cursed is the man who made my father very happy with the news that he had just become the father of a baby boy.

No spell can curse the descendants of Jacob. No magic can harm the people of Israel. Now it will be said of Jacob and Israel: ‘See what God has done!’

He did this so that now, through the church, he could let the rulers and authorities in heaven know his infinite wisdom.

⌞This will happen⌟ on that day when he comes to be honored among all his holy people and admired by all who have believed in him. This includes you because you believed the testimony we gave you.
