“The Lord has blessed my master, and he has become wealthy. The Lord has given him sheep and cattle, silver and gold, male and female slaves, camels and donkeys.

It is the Lord’s blessing that makes a person rich, and hard work adds nothing to it.

He owned 7,000 sheep and goats, 3,000 camels, 1,000 oxen, 500 donkeys, and a large number of servants. He was the most influential person in the Middle East.

But remember the Lord your God is the one who makes you wealthy. He’s confirming the promise  which he swore to your ancestors. It’s still in effect today.

Training the body helps a little, but godly living helps in every way. Godly living has the promise of life now and in the world to come.

But first, be concerned about his kingdom and what has his approval. Then all these things will be provided for you.

Haven’t you put a protective fence around him, his home, and everything he has? You have blessed everything he does. His cattle have spread out over the land.

The Lord causes poverty and grants wealth. He humbles ⌞people⌟; he also promotes them.

Everything went well for Abram because of her, and he was given sheep, cattle, donkeys, male and female slaves, and camels.

There wasn’t enough pastureland for both of them. They had so many possessions that they were unable to remain together.

By now Abraham was old, and the Lord had blessed him in every way.

As a result, Jacob became very wealthy. He had large flocks, male and female slaves, camels, and donkeys.

Because he owned so many flocks, herds, and servants, the Philistines became jealous of him.
