Both Abram and Nahor married. The name of Abram’s wife was Sarai, and the name of Nahor’s wife was Milcah, daughter of Haran. (Haran was the father of Milcah and Iscah.)

When Abram arrived in Egypt, the Egyptians saw how very beautiful his wife was.

Abraham told everyone that his wife Sarah was his sister. So King Abimelech of Gerar sent men to take Sarah.

The life of every person belongs to me. Fathers and their children belong to me. The person who sins will die.

You come from your father, the devil, and you desire to do what your father wants you to do. The devil was a murderer from the beginning. He has never been truthful. He doesn’t know what the truth is. Whenever he tells a lie, he’s doing what comes naturally to him. He’s a liar and the father of lies.

The payment for sin is death, but the gift that God freely gives is everlasting life found in Christ Jesus our Lord.

It is because of these sins that God’s anger comes on those who refuse to obey him.
