The only thing they asked us to do was to remember the poor, the very thing which I was eager to do.
After many years I have come back to my people and brought gifts for the poor and offerings ⌞for God⌟.
Be generous to these poor people, and freely lend them as much as they need. Never be hard-hearted and tight-fisted with them.
Don’t forget to do good things for others and to share what you have with them. These are the kinds of sacrifices that please God.
Now, suppose a person has enough to live on and notices another believer in need. How can God’s love be in that person if he doesn’t bother to help the other believer?
