“Never offer the blood of a sacrifice to me at the same time you offer anything containing yeast. No part of the sacrifice at the Passover Festival should be left over in the morning.

Don’t leave any of it until morning. Anything left over in the morning must be burned up.

Eat nothing made with yeast. Wherever you live, you must eat ⌞only⌟ unleavened bread.”

The meat must be eaten that same night. It must be roasted over a fire and eaten with bitter herbs and unleavened bread.

“Never offer the blood of a sacrifice to me at the same time you offer anything containing yeast. The fat sacrificed at my festivals should never be left over in the morning.

If any meat or bread from the ordination is left over until morning, burn it up. It must not be eaten because it is holy.

“Every grain offering that you bring to the Lord must be prepared without yeast. Never burn yeast or honey as an offering to the Lord.

“The meat from your fellowship offering of thanksgiving must be eaten on the day it is offered. Never leave any of it until morning.

You must never leave any of the meat until morning or break any of the animal’s bones. You must follow all the rules for the Passover when you celebrate it.

He used another illustration. “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman mixed into a large amount of flour until the yeast worked its way through all the dough.”

Never eat leavened bread with the meat from this sacrifice. Instead, for seven days you must eat unleavened bread at this festival. (It is the bread of misery because you left Egypt in a hurry.) Eat this bread so that, as long as you live, you will remember the day you left Egypt.

There should be no yeast anywhere in your land for seven days. Never leave until morning any of the meat you slaughter on the evening of the first day.
