He sacrificed every day, on weekly days of rest—holy days, on the New Moon Festivals, and on the three annual festivals (the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks, and the Festival of Booths) as Moses had commanded.

“Three times a year you must celebrate a pilgrimage festival in my honor.

“Celebrate the Festival of the Harvest with the first produce harvested from whatever you plant in your fields. “Celebrate the Festival of the Final Harvest at the end of the year when you harvest your crops from the fields.

You may bring them to the Lord as offerings of your first products. But they must never be placed on the altar to make a soothing aroma.

“Count seven full weeks from the day after Passover (the day you bring the bundle of grain as an offering presented to the Lord)

“Tell the Israelites: The fifteenth day of this seventh month is the Festival of Booths to the Lord. It will last seven days.

⌞The Lord continued,⌟ “On the first day of the seventh month you must have a holy assembly. You must not do any regular work. It is a day for ⌞the trumpets to sound⌟ a fanfare.

The time for the Jewish Festival of Booths was near.

When Pentecost, the fiftieth day after Passover, came, all the believers were together in one place.

Count seven weeks from the time you start harvesting grain.
