“Then have them make a holy place for me, and I will live among them.

I will live among the Israelites and never abandon my people.”

So dedicate your hearts and lives to serving the Lord your God. Start building the holy place of the Lord God so that you can bring the ark of the Lord’s promise and God’s holy utensils into the temple that will be built for the Lord’s name.”

You will bring them and plant them on your own mountain, the place where you live, O Lord, the holy place that you built with your own hands, O Lord.

The Lord is my strength and my song. He is my Savior. This is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will honor him.

“Then I will live among the Israelites and be their God.

They will know that I am the Lord their God. I brought them out of Egypt so that I might live among them. I am the Lord their God.”

Shout loudly, and sing with joy, people of Zion! The Holy One of Israel is great. He is among you.”

I will promise them peace. This promise  will last forever. I will establish them, make them increase in number, and put my holy place among them permanently.

Then the nations will know that I, the Lord, have set Israel apart as holy, because my holy place will be among them permanently.’ ”

The voice said to me, “Son of man, this is the place where my throne is and the place where my feet rest. This is where I will live among the Israelites forever. Then the people of Israel and their kings will no longer dishonor my holy name by acting like prostitutes, nor will they dishonor it with the dead bodies of their kings.

Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Aaron’s uncle, Uzziel. He told them, “Come and take your relatives away from in front of the holy place. Take them outside the camp.”

He must not leave the holy tent of his God. If he does, he will be dishonoring it, because he is dedicated with the anointing oil of his God. I am the Lord.

“I will put my tent among you, and I will never look at you with disgust.

The priest will dip his finger in it and sprinkle some of the blood seven times in the Lord’s presence facing the canopy in the holy place.

Sing for joy and rejoice, people of Zion. I’m going to come and live among you, declares the Lord.

This is what the Lord says: I will return to Zion and live in Jerusalem. Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth. The mountain of the Lord of Armies will be called the holy mountain.

Send all of these unclean men and women outside the camp. They must not make this camp where I live among you unclean.”

“In the desert our ancestors had the tent of God’s promise. Moses built this tent exactly as God had told him. He used the model he had seen.

Can God’s temple contain false gods? Clearly, we are the temple of the living God. As God said, “I will live and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people.”

Then the Lord your God will choose a place where his name will live. You must bring everything I command you to that place. Bring your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, one-tenth of your income, your contributions, and all the best offerings you vow to bring to the Lord.

But Christ is a faithful son in charge of God’s household. We are his household if we continue to have courage and to be proud of the confidence we have.

Then Phinehas, son of the priest Eleazar, said to the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Manasseh, “Today we know the Lord is among us, because you did not commit an unfaithful act against the Lord. Now you have rescued the people of Israel from the Lord’s punishment.”

I heard a loud voice from the throne say, “God lives with humans! God will make his home with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them and be their God.
