You will bring them and plant them on your own mountain, the place where you live, O Lord, the holy place that you built with your own hands, O Lord.

I will make a place for my people Israel and plant them there. They will live in their own place and not be troubled anymore. The wicked will no longer oppress them as they used to do

I certainly have built you a high temple, a home for you to live in permanently.”

Judah became his holy place and Israel became his kingdom.

By your power you forced nations ⌞out of the land⌟, but you planted our ancestors ⌞there⌟. You shattered many groups of people, but you set our ancestors free.

Why do you look with envy, you mountains with many peaks, at the mountain where God has chosen to live? Certainly, the Lord will live there forever.

His tent is in Salem. His home is in Zion.

Take care of what your right hand planted, the son you strengthened for yourself.

You brought a vine from Egypt. You forced out the nations and planted it.

“Lovingly, you will lead the people you have saved. Powerfully, you will guide them to your holy dwelling.

“I’m going to send a Messenger in front of you to protect you on your trip and bring you to the place I have prepared.

“Then have them make a holy place for me, and I will live among them.

Now, go! Lead the people to the place I told you about. My Messenger will go ahead of you. But when I punish, I will punish them for their sin.”

I planted you like a choice grapevine from the very best seed. Now you have turned against me and have become a wild vine.

This is what the Lord of Armies, the God of Israel, says: When I have brought them back from captivity, they will once again use this saying in Judah and in its cities: “The Lord bless you, home of righteousness, holy mountain.

I will enjoy blessing them. With all my heart and soul I will faithfully plant them in this land.

I will promise them peace. This promise  will last forever. I will establish them, make them increase in number, and put my holy place among them permanently.

Then the nations will know that I, the Lord, have set Israel apart as holy, because my holy place will be among them permanently.’ ”

They will invite nations to their mountain, and there they will offer the proper sacrifices. They will be nourished by the abundance from the seas and the treasures hidden in the sand.”

If your land is unclean, come over here to the Lord’s land. The Lord’s tent is standing here. Take some property for yourselves among us. Don’t rebel against the Lord or against us by building an altar for yourselves in addition to the altar of the Lord our God.
