Deuteronomy 21:21

God's Word

All the men of the city should stone him to death. You must get rid of this evil. When all Israel hears about it, they will be afraid.

That prophet or dreamer must be put to death because he preached rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt and freed you from slavery. He was trying to lead you away from following the directions the Lord your God gave you. You must get rid of this evil.

But those who curse the Lord’s name must be put to death. The whole congregation must stone them to death. It makes no difference whether they are Israelites or foreigners. Whoever curses the Lord’s name must die.

take them to the gate of the city and stone them to death. The girl must die because she was in a city and didn’t scream for help. The man must die because he had sex with another man’s wife. You must get rid of this evil.

“Every man or woman who is a medium or a psychic must be put to death. They must be stoned to death because they deserve to die.”

“The man who cursed ⌞my name⌟ must be taken outside the camp. All who heard him curse ⌞my name⌟ must lay their hands on his head. Then the whole congregation must stone him to death.

The priest will make peace with the Lord for the whole community of Israel. Then they will be forgiven because the wrongdoing was unintentional and they brought these two offerings to the Lord for their sin: an offering by fire and an offering for sin.

Then the Lord said to Moses, “This man must be put to death. The whole community must take him outside the camp and stone him.”

So the whole community took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the Lord commanded Moses.

They will say to the leaders of the city, “This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He won’t obey us. He eats too much and is a drunk.”

They took Absalom, threw him into a huge pit in the forest, and piled a large heap of stones over him. Meanwhile, all Israel fled and went back to their homes.

“Whoever curses his father or mother must be put to death.

Your own brother, son, or daughter, the wife you love, or your best friend may secretly tempt you, saying, “Let’s go worship other gods.” (Those gods may be gods that you and your ancestors never knew.

You may hear that the residents in one of the cities which the Lord your God is giving you to live in

The witnesses must start the execution, then all the other people will join them in putting the person to death. You must get rid of this evil.

The eye that makes fun of a father and hates to obey a mother will be plucked out by ravens in the valley and eaten by young vultures.
