He is your glory. He is your God, who did for you these spectacular and awe-inspiring deeds you saw with your own eyes.

Who is like your people Israel? It is the one nation on earth that God came to free in order to make its people his own, to make his name  known, and to do great and wonderful things for them. You forced  nations and their gods out of the way of your people, whom you freed from Egypt to be your own.

O God, whom I praise, do not turn a deaf ear to me.

People will talk about the power of your terrifying deeds, and I will tell about your greatness.

He has given his people a strong leader, someone praiseworthy for his faithful ones, for the people of Israel, the people who are close to him. Hallelujah!

Yet, you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel.

The Lord is my strength and my song. He is my Savior. This is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will honor him.

The Lord said, “I’m making my promise  again. In front of all your people I will perform miracles that have never been done in any other nation in all the world. All the people around you will see how awesome these miracles are that I will perform for you.

The sun will no longer be your light during the day, nor will the brightness of the moon give you light, But the Lord will be your everlasting light. Your God will be your glory.

When you did awe-inspiring things that we didn’t expect, you came down and the mountains quaked in your presence.

Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed. Rescue me, and I will be rescued. You are the one I praise.

He is a light that will reveal ⌞salvation⌟ to the nations and bring glory to your people Israel.”

The Lord forced out all the people ahead of us, including the Amorites who lived in this land. We, too, will serve the Lord, because he is our God.”

The city doesn’t need any sun or moon to give it light because the glory of God gave it light. The lamb was its lamp.

Fear the Lord, and serve him sincerely. Consider the great things he did for you.
