The two kings will both plan to do evil. They will sit at the same table and tell lies. But they will not succeed, because the end must wait until the appointed time.

All people speak foolishly. They speak with flattering lips. They say one thing but mean another.

Why do you brag about the evil you’ve done, you hero? The mercy of God lasts all day long!

No, you invent new crimes on earth, and your hands spread violence.

Common people are only a whisper in the wind. Important people are only a delusion. When all of them are weighed on a scale, they amount to nothing. They are less than a whisper in the wind.

They search for the perfect crime and say, “We have perfected a foolproof scheme!” Human nature and the human heart are a mystery!

Deceit is in the heart of those who plan evil, but joy belongs to those who advise peace.

Many plans are in the human heart, but the advice of the Lord will endure.

⌞Like⌟ a clay pot covered with cheap silver, ⌞so⌟ is smooth talk that covers up an evil heart.

“Tell the nation of Israel, ‘This is what the Almighty Lord says: Will this vine live and grow? Won’t the first eagle uproot it and tear off its fruit? Then it will wither. All the leaves on its branches will wither. It won’t take much strength or many people to pull the vine up by its roots.

In Cyrus’ third year as king of Persia, a message was revealed to Daniel (who had been renamed Belteshazzar). The message was true. It was about a great war. Daniel understood the message because he was given insight during the vision.

The northern king will return to his country with a lot of wealth. He will be determined to fight against the holy promise. He will take action and return to his own country.

“At the appointed time he will again invade the south, but this time will be different from the first.

Some of the wise people will be defeated in order to refine, purify, and make them white until the end times. But the appointed time is still to come.

“In the end times the southern king will attack him. The northern king will rush at him like a storm with chariots, horses, and many ships. He will invade countries, overwhelm them, and pass through their land.

Gabriel came up beside me, and when he came, I was terrified and immediately knelt down. He said to me, “Son of man, understand that the vision is about the end times.”

He said, “I will tell you what will happen in the last days, ⌞the time of God’s⌟ anger, because the end time has been determined.

The vision will still happen at the appointed time. It hurries toward its goal. It won’t be a lie. If it’s delayed, wait for it. It will certainly happen. It won’t be late.

Jesus told them, “You don’t need to know about times or periods that the Father has determined by his own authority.

He has set a day when he is going to judge the world with justice, and he will use a man he has appointed to do this. God has given proof to everyone that he will do this by bringing that man back to life.”

Brothers and sisters, you don’t need anyone to write to you about times and dates.
