Enjoy life with your wife, whom you love, during all your brief, pointless life. God has given you your pointless life under the sun. This is your lot ⌞in life⌟ and what you get for the hard work that you do under the sun.

“If people come to me and are not ready to abandon their fathers, mothers, wives, children, brothers, and sisters, as well as their own lives, they cannot be my disciples.

Their mouths are full of curses and bitter resentment.

Get rid of your bitterness, hot tempers, anger, loud quarreling, cursing, and hatred.

Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave his life for it.

But every husband must love his wife as he loves himself, and wives should respect their husbands.

Fathers, don’t make your children resentful, or they will become discouraged.

But if you are bitterly jealous and filled with self-centered ambition, don’t brag. Don’t say that you are wise when it isn’t true.

Husbands, in a similar way, live with your wives with understanding since they are weaker than you are. Honor your wives as those who share God’s life-giving kindness  so that nothing will interfere with your prayers.
