In the daytime they meet darkness and grope in the sunlight as if it were night.

The stars in the sky and their constellations won’t show their light anymore. The sun will be dark when it rises. The moon won’t shine.

Honor the Lord your God before it gets dark, before your feet stumble on the mountains in the twilight. You will look for light, but the Lord will turn it into the shadow of death and change it into deep darkness.

God made the ⌞constellations⌟ Pleiades and Orion. He turns deep darkness into dawn. He turns day into night. He calls for water from the sea to pour it over the face of the earth. His name is the Lord.

That is why you will have nights without visions. You will have darkness without revelations. The sun will set on the prophets, and the day will turn dark for them.

There will be one day—a day known to the Lord—with no difference between day and night. It will be light even in the evening.

“Immediately after the misery of those days, the sun will turn dark, the moon will not give light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the universe will be shaken.
