‘The Lord says, “Heaven is my throne. The earth is my footstool. What kind of house are you going to build for me? Where will I rest?

Micaiah added, “Then hear the Lord’s word. I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and the entire army of heaven was standing near him on his right and his left.

“Does God really live on earth? If heaven itself, the highest heaven, cannot hold you, then how can this temple that I have built?

The Lord is in his holy temple. The Lord’s throne is in heaven. His eyes see. They examine Adam’s descendants.

This is what the Lord says: Heaven is my throne. The earth is my footstool. Where can you build a house or resting place for me?

“No one can hide so that I can’t see him,” declares the Lord. “I fill heaven and earth!” declares the Lord.

“From the nations where the sun rises to the nations where the sun sets, my name will be great. Incense and pure offerings will be offered everywhere in my name, because my name will be great among the nations,” says the Lord of Armies.

And to swear an oath by heaven is to swear by God’s throne and the one who sits on it.

Jesus said to them, “You see all these buildings, don’t you? I can guarantee this truth: Not one of these stones will be left on top of another. Each one will be torn down.”

Jesus told her, “Believe me. A time is coming when you Samaritans won’t be worshiping the Father on this mountain or in Jerusalem.

I will allow everyone who wins the victory to sit with me on my throne, as I have won the victory and have sat down with my Father on his throne.
