Certainly, anger kills a stubborn fool, and jealousy murders a gullible person.

A tranquil heart makes for a healthy body, but jealousy is ⌞like⌟ bone cancer.

Kings take their stand. Rulers make plans together against the Lord and against his Messiah.’

The chief priest Annas, Caiaphas, John, Alexander, and the rest of the chief priest’s family were present.

Crowds from the cities around Jerusalem would gather. They would bring their sick and those who were troubled by evil spirits, and each person was cured.

envy, drunkenness, wild partying, and similar things. I’ve told you in the past and I’m telling you again that people who do these kinds of things will not inherit God’s kingdom.

So get rid of every kind of evil, every kind of deception, hypocrisy, jealousy, and every kind of slander.
