My belly is like ⌞a bottle of⌟ wine that has not been opened, like new wineskins that are ready to burst.

May your mouth taste like the best wine … … that goes down smoothly to my beloved and glides over the lips of those about to sleep.

On this mountain the Lord of Armies will prepare for all people a feast with the best foods, a banquet with aged wines, with the best foods and the finest wines.

The people of Ephraim will be like mighty warriors. Their hearts will be glad as if they had some wine ⌞to drink⌟. Their sons will see it and be glad. Their hearts will find joy in the Lord.

The Lord of Armies will defend them. They will destroy and trample the stones used in slings. They will drink and shout as if they were drunk. They will be filled like a sacrificial bowl ⌞used for sprinkling⌟ the corners of the altar.

They will be beautiful and lovely. Young men will prosper on grain, and young women will prosper on new wine.

These men are not drunk as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning.

Suppose the whole congregation gathers in the same place and you speak in other languages. When outsiders or unbelievers come in, won’t they say that you’re out of your mind?

Don’t get drunk on wine, which leads to wild living. Instead, be filled with the Spirit

“How long are you going to stay drunk?” Eli asked her. “Get rid of your wine.”
