At that hour of the night, the jailer washed Paul and Silas’ wounds. The jailer and his entire family were baptized immediately.

When a person’s ways are pleasing to the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

As they confessed their sins, he baptized them in the Jordan River.

They spoke the Lord’s word to the jailer and everyone in his home.

I also baptized Stephanas and his family. Beyond that, I’m not sure whether I baptized anyone else.

You were indeed called to be free, brothers and sisters. Don’t turn this freedom into an excuse for your corrupt nature to express itself. Rather, serve each other through love.

As far as our relationship to Christ Jesus is concerned, it doesn’t matter whether we are circumcised or not. But what matters is a faith that expresses itself through love.

Baptism, which is like that water, now saves you. Baptism doesn’t save by removing dirt from the body. Rather, baptism is a request to God for a clear conscience. It saves you through Jesus Christ, who came back from death to life.
