When Lydia and her family were baptized, she invited us to stay at her home. She said, “If you’re convinced that I believe in the Lord, then stay at my home.” She insisted. So we did.

The synagogue leader Crispus and his whole family believed in the Lord. Many Corinthians who heard Paul believed and were baptized.

However, when Philip spread the Good News about God’s kingdom and the one named Jesus Christ, men and women believed him and were baptized.

The official ordered the carriage to stop. He and Philip stepped into the water, and Philip baptized him.

Gaius greets you. He is host to me and the whole church. Erastus, the city treasurer, greets you. Quartus, our brother in the Christian faith, greets you.

I have become a fool. You forced me to be one. You should have recommended me to others. Even if I’m nothing, I wasn’t inferior in any way to your super-apostles.

Clearly, Christ’s love guides us. We are convinced of the fact that one man has died for all people. Therefore, all people have died.

Whenever we have the opportunity, we have to do what is good for everyone, especially for the family of believers.

Don’t forget to show hospitality to believers you don’t know. By doing this some believers have shown hospitality to angels without being aware of it.

I’ve written this short letter to you and I’m sending it by Silvanus, whom I regard as a faithful brother. I’ve written to encourage you and to testify that this is God’s genuine good will. Remain firmly established in it!

If anyone comes to you and doesn’t bring these teachings, don’t take him into your home or even greet him.

Dear friend, you are showing your faith in whatever you do for other believers, especially when they’re your guests.

We must support believers who go on trips like this so that we can work together with them in spreading the truth.
