The Lord tests righteous people, but he hates wicked people and the ones who love violence.

“They make kings happy with the wicked things they do. They make officials happy with the lies they tell.

Although they know God’s judgment that those who do such things deserve to die, they not only do these things but also approve of others who do them.

Love sincerely. Hate evil. Hold on to what is good.

anger and fury on those who, in selfish pride, refuse to believe the truth and who follow what is wrong.

It isn’t happy when injustice is done, but it is happy with the truth.

I will take revenge and be satisfied. In due time their foot will slip, because their day of disaster is near. Their doom is coming quickly.

It was not God’s intention that we experience his anger but that we obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

He will use everything that God disapproves of to deceive those who are dying, those who refused to love the truth that would save them.

In their greed they will use good-sounding arguments to exploit you. The verdict against them from long ago is still in force, and their destruction is not asleep.

Dear friend, never imitate evil, but imitate good. The person who does good is from God. The person who does evil has never seen God.
