As they started to sing praises, the Lord set ambushes against the Ammonites, Moabites, and the people of Mount Seir who had come into Judah. They were defeated.

Then the Levites—Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah—said, “Stand up, and thank the Lord your God: From everlasting to everlasting your glorious name is praised and lifted high above all blessing and praise.

Who can speak about all the mighty things the Lord has done? Who can announce all the things for which he is worthy of praise?

I will take the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord.

I will bring a song of thanksgiving to you as a sacrifice. I will call on the name of the Lord.

I will call on him as long as I live because he turns his ear toward me.

But I kept calling on the name of the Lord: “Please, Lord, rescue me!”

The Lord should be praised. I called on him, and I was saved from my enemies.

Here is a poor man who called out. The Lord heard him and saved him from all his troubles.

The Lord is great. He should be highly praised. His holy mountain is in the city of our God.

Call on me in times of trouble. I will rescue you, and you will honor me.”

But I call on God, and the Lord saves me.

Then my enemies will retreat when I call ⌞to you⌟. This I know: God is on my side.

Make music to praise the glory of his name. Make his praise glorious.

The Lord is great! He should be highly praised. He should be feared more than all ⌞other⌟ gods

So then, “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

“Our Lord and God, you deserve to receive glory, honor, and power because you created everything. Everything came into existence and was created because of your will.”

In a loud voice they were singing, “The lamb who was slain deserves to receive power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and praise.”
