After he sent the man out, God placed angels and a flaming sword that turned in all directions east of the Garden of Eden. He placed them there to guard the way to the tree of life.
He and all the people with him left Baalah in Judah to bring God’s ark ⌞to Jerusalem⌟. (The ark is called by the name of the Lord of Armies, who is enthroned over the angels.)
Then the glory of the God of Israel went up from the angels, where it had been, to the temple’s entrance. The Lord called to the person dressed in linen who was carrying paper and pen.
The troops sent some men who brought back the ark of the promise of the Lord of Armies—who is enthroned over the angels. Eli’s two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, came along with God’s ark.
