Then the king turned around and blessed the whole assembly of Israel while they were standing.

When David had finished sacrificing burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord.

When the burnt offerings were finished, the king and everyone who was with him kneeled and bowed down.

When Hezekiah and the leaders saw the heaps, they praised the Lord and his people Israel.

But I have built you a high temple, a home for you to live in permanently.”

“Thanks be to the Lord God of Israel. With his mouth he made a promise to my father David; with his hand he carried it out. He said,

The prince must be among them. When they enter, he must enter. When they leave, he must leave.

The crowd that gathered around him was so large that he got into a boat. He sat in the boat while the entire crowd stood on the shore.

Then Joshua blessed them. He sent them on their way, and they went to their homes.
