God's Word

Solomon, son of David, strengthened his position over the kingdom. The Lord his God was with him and made him very powerful.

At that time Abimelech, accompanied by Phicol, the commander of his army, said to Abraham, “God is with you in everything you do.

The Lord was with Joseph, so he became a successful man. He worked in the house of his Egyptian master.

the Lord was with him. The Lord reached out to him with his unchanging love and gave him protection. The Lord also put Joseph on good terms with the warden.

Joseph’s master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made everything he did successful.

Solomon sat on his father David’s throne, and his power was firmly established.

Then the king gave orders to Benaiah, son of Jehoiada. He went to attack and kill Shimei. Solomon’s power as king was now firmly established.

I was with you wherever you went, and I destroyed all your enemies in front of you. I will make your name like the names of the greatest people on earth.

⌞David continued,⌟ “Now, son, the Lord will be with you. You will be successful, and you will build the temple of the Lord your God as he predicted you would.

The gold, silver, bronze, and iron are more than can be counted. So get to work! May the Lord be with you.”

Then Solomon sat on the Lord’s throne as king in place of his father David. Solomon was successful and all Israel obeyed him.

The Lord made Solomon extremely powerful, as all Israel could see. The people of Israel gave him royal honor like no king of Israel before him ever had.

It includes everything about his reign, his power, and the things that happened to him, Israel, and all the other kingdoms.

Many people still went to Jerusalem to bring gifts to the Lord and expensive presents to King Hezekiah of Judah. From then on, he was considered important by all the nations.

God answered, “I will be with you. And this will be the proof that I sent you: When you bring the people out of Egypt, all of you will worship God on this mountain.”

Teach them to do everything I have commanded you. “And remember that I am always with you until the end of time.”

Then the Lord said to Joshua, “Today I will begin to honor you in front of all the people of Israel. I will do this to let them know that I am with you just as I was with Moses.
