You were once dead because of your failures and sins.

We were dead because of our failures, but he made us alive together with Christ. (It is God’s kindness  that saved you.)

Some of these men go into homes and mislead weak-minded women who are burdened with sins and led by all kinds of desires.

You have lived in luxury and pleasure here on earth. You have fattened yourselves for the day of slaughter.
