Christ never committed any sin. He never spoke deceitfully.

Keep your tongue from saying evil things and your lips from speaking deceitful things.

He was placed in a tomb with the wicked. He was put there with the rich when he died, although he had done nothing violent and had never spoken a lie.

While Pilate was judging the case, his wife sent him a message. It said, “Leave that innocent man alone. I’ve been very upset today because of a dream I had about him.”

He said, “I’ve sinned by betraying an innocent man.” They replied, “What do we care? That’s your problem.”

Our punishment is fair. We’re getting what we deserve. But this man hasn’t done anything wrong.”

When an army officer saw what had happened, he praised God and said, “Certainly, this man was innocent!”

Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and remarked, “Here is a true Israelite who is sincere.”

Can any of you convict me of committing a sin? If I’m telling the truth, why don’t you believe me?

God had Christ, who was sinless, take our sin so that we might receive God’s approval through him.

We have a chief priest who is able to sympathize with our weaknesses. He was tempted in every way that we are, but he didn’t sin.

Likewise, Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of humanity, and after that he will appear a second time. This time he will not deal with sin, but he will save those who eagerly wait for him.

My dear children, I’m writing this to you so that you will not sin. Yet, if anyone does sin, we have Jesus Christ, who has God’s full approval. He speaks on our behalf when we come into the presence of the Father.

You know that Christ appeared in order to take away our sins. He isn’t sinful.

They’ve never told a lie. They are blameless.
