Grass dries up, and flowers wither, but our God’s word will last forever.”

I can guarantee this truth: Until the earth and the heavens disappear, neither a period nor a comma will disappear from the Scriptures before everything has come true.

O Lord, your word is established in heaven forever.

The Word of life existed from the beginning. We have heard it. We have seen it. We observed and touched it.

So we regard the words of the prophets as confirmed beyond all doubt. You’re doing well by paying attention to their words. Continue to pay attention as you would to a light that shines in a dark place as you wait for day to come and the morning star to rise in your hearts.

But you, O Lord, remain forever. You are remembered throughout every generation.

It is easier for the earth and the heavens to disappear than to drop a comma from the Scriptures.

He came with the Good News of peace for you who were far away and for those who were near.

The Word became human and lived among us. We saw his glory. It was the glory that the Father shares with his only Son, a glory full of kindness  and truth.

In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.

They will come to an end, but you will still go on. They will all wear out like clothing. You will change them like clothes, and they will be thrown away.

This is the life we have seen and heard. We are reporting about it to you also so that you, too, can have a relationship with us. Our relationship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.

Desire God’s pure word as newborn babies desire milk. Then you will grow in your salvation.

You have been born again, not from a seed that can be destroyed, but through God’s everlasting word that can’t be destroyed. That’s why ⌞Scripture says⌟,

God revealed to the prophets that the things they had spoken were not for their own benefit but for yours. What the prophets had spoken, the Holy Spirit, who was sent from heaven, has now made known to you by those who spread the Good News among you. These are things that even the angels want to look into.

God has revealed this in every era by spreading his word. I was entrusted with this word by the command of God our Savior.

I am the least of all God’s people. Yet, God showed me his kindness by allowing me to spread the Good News of the immeasurable wealth of Christ to people who are not Jewish.

While I was with you, I decided to deal with only one subject—Jesus Christ, who was crucified.

A voice called, “Call out!” I asked, “What should I call out?” “Call out: All people are like grass, and all their beauty is like a flower in the field.

They experienced the goodness of God’s word and the powers of the world to come.

I saw another angel flying overhead with the everlasting Good News to spread to those who live on earth—to every nation, tribe, language, and people.
