Love each other as I have loved you. This is what I’m commanding you to do.

All of Moses’ Teachings are summarized in a single statement, “Love your neighbor as you love yourself.”

As far as our relationship to Christ Jesus is concerned, it doesn’t matter whether we are circumcised or not. But what matters is a faith that expresses itself through love.

You don’t need anyone to write to you about the way Christians should love each other. God has taught you to love each other.

Finally, everyone must live in harmony, be sympathetic, love each other, have compassion, and be humble.

Above all, love each other warmly, because love covers many sins.

Dear friends, it’s not as though I’m writing to give you a new commandment. Rather, I’m giving you an old commandment that you’ve had from the beginning. It’s the old commandment you’ve already heard.

The message that you have heard from the beginning is to love each other.

We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love other believers. The person who doesn’t grow in love remains in death.

Dear children, we must show love through actions that are sincere, not through empty words.

This is his commandment: to believe in his Son, the one named Jesus Christ, and to love each other as he commanded us.

Dear friends, if this is the way God loved us, we must also love each other.
