All of you can take your turns speaking what God has revealed. In that way, everyone will learn and be encouraged.

Give ⌞advice⌟ to a wise person, and he will become even wiser. Teach a righteous person, and he will learn more.

What I mean is that we may be encouraged by each other’s faith.

Yet, in order to teach others in church, I would rather say five words that can be understood than ten thousand words in another language.

But when a person speaks what God has revealed, he speaks to people to help them grow, to encourage them, and to comfort them.

If God reveals something to another person who is seated, the first speaker should be silent.

People who speak what God has revealed must control themselves.

If they want to know anything they should ask their husbands at home. It’s shameful for a woman to speak in church.

He comforts us whenever we suffer. That is why whenever other people suffer, we are able to comfort them by using the same comfort we have received from God.

That’s why I’m sending him to you so that you may know how we’re doing and that he may encourage you.

Because they are united in love, I work so that they may be encouraged by all the riches that come from a complete understanding of Christ. He is the mystery of God.

So then, comfort each other with these words!

Therefore, encourage each other and strengthen one another as you are doing.

We encourage you, brothers and sisters, to instruct those who are not living right, cheer up those who are discouraged, help the weak, and be patient with everyone.

Don’t despise what God has revealed.
