One time some Israelites were burying a man when suddenly they saw some raiders coming, so they quickly threw the man into Elisha's tomb. As soon as he touched Elisha's bones, the man came back to life and stood up.

He touched me on my mouth with it and told me, “Look! This has touched your lips, so now your guilt is taken away and your sin is forgiven.”

Then they left the synagogue and went to the home of Simon and Andrew, along with James and John.

With compassion Jesus reached out and touched the man, and said, “I am willing. Be healed!”

But Jesus took her by the hand, and said in a loud voice, “My child, get up!”
