So Hanun detained David's ambassadors and had them shaved, and their robes cut off at the buttocks. Then he sent them back.

But God will crush the heads of his enemies, the hairy heads of those who continue to sin.

But they grabbed hold of him, beat him up, and sent him away with nothing.

He sent another servant, and this one they killed. He sent many other servants, and they beat some of them and killed others.

So the owner sent another servant, but they beat him too and treated him shamefully, and sent him away with nothing.
