They should show the young women how to be self-disciplined, pure-minded, working at home, kind, and following the loving guidance of their husbands. In this way, they will not bring dishonor to the message of the Great Spirit.

Wives, listen to and follow the loving guidance of your husbands, for this is a good thing in Creator’s sight.


She must also have a reputation for doing good. Has she raised her children in a good way? Has she welcomed travelers into her home? Has she washed the feet of Creator’s holy ones? Has she offered help to people during hard times? Has she always been willing to do good for others?


So each man should love his wife as himself, treat her as he wants her to treat him, and each wife is to give respect to her husband.


Now in the nearby Village of Beauty (Joppa) there lived a follower of Creator Sets Free (Jesus) whose name was Deer Woman (Tabitha), which is translated into our tribal language as Deer Eyes (Dorcas). She was a doer of many good deeds and always gave to the ones who had little.


Any sacred family members who are slaves should treat their earthly masters with respect. In this way Creator will not be given a bad reputation, and no one will speak against him or what we teach.


During our sacred gatherings wives should remain silent, for they are not permitted to speak out of place. They should remain under the guidance of their husbands, as our Sacred Teachings tell us.


Here is another tradition I want you to understand: the Chosen One is headman over each and every man, giving each one loving guidance. In the same way the husband is headman over his wife and his family, giving them loving guidance. In a similar manner the Great Spirit is headman over the Chosen One, giving loving guidance to all.


This is in agreement with the Sacred Teachings that say, “It is because of you that the Outside Nations are speaking against the Great Spirit.”
