For we know that once the Chosen One was raised to life from the dead, he would never die again. Death no longer has the power to rule over him.

Romans 6:4

This ceremony shows that we have been buried with him in death, so that in the same way the Chosen One was raised from the dead by the power of our Father the Great Spirit, we should walk this new road of life to bring honor to him.

Romans 6:10

He died, once for all, to bring an end to humanity’s broken ways. The life he now lives is a life that brings honor to the Great Spirit.
