Those who have been born from the Great Spirit do not keep walking in broken ways. They are not able to, for Creator is their Father and he has planted his message deep within them to stay.
So my sacred family members, when the Chosen One died in his human body, you died with him. This death released you from our tribal law, so you could join with the one who has been raised from the dead. So now our lives can bear much fruit for the Great Spirit.
He took on himself our broken ways when he hung on a tree-pole—the cross. He did this so we could die to our broken ways and come alive to his right ways. By his wounds we have been made whole.
It was through our tribal law that I died to our tribal law, so that I could be set free to live for the Great Spirit. When the Chosen One died on the cross, I died with him.
But now that we have died, we have been released from the law that kept us bound. We now walk in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of a law carved in stone and written with ink on paper.
Because you are the children of the Great Spirit, follow all his instructions. Do not walk with a bad heart, as you did in the past when you did not know the things you know now.
If you have died with the Chosen One to the powers and ideas that rule the ways of this world, why would you follow the kind of rules these people require?
May I never brag except in what our Honored Chief, Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One, has done by dying on the cross. For I was nailed to the cross with the Chosen One. That is how I died to the ways of this world and how the ways of this world died to me.
But taking this a step further, we can now boast with glad hearts about what the Great Spirit has done through our Honored Chief Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One! He is the one who has restored us back into friendship with the Great Spirit!
Then he said, “He will return, put those dishonorable men to death and give the vineyard to others.” The spiritual leaders were insulted by this story. “That must never happen!” they said.
What then does this mean? Should we continue to walk in broken ways since we are not under our tribal law, but under the gift of Creator’s great kindness? Let that kind of thinking fall to the ground!
