The law produces only anger for those who fail to walk in it. Where there is no law, only a promise, then no one would be failing to keep a law.

These broken ways were already at work in the world, even before our tribal law was given. But where there is no law, no one can be guilty of breaking it.


All who seek good standing with Creator through working hard to keep our tribal law are under the law’s curse. For it is written in our Sacred Teachings, “Cursed is anyone who does not perform all that is written down in the book of the law.”


For our broken ways give death its sting, and our broken ways give the law its power. But no more!


So then, what was the purpose of our tribal law? The law was added because of bad hearts and broken ways, but only until the coming of the Chosen One, the descendant to whom the promise was made. The law was put in place by spirit-messengers through a go-between.


“The ones who trust in his Son have the life of the world that never fades away, but the ones who do not walk in his ways will not have this life. Instead, they will remain under the power of death, which reveals Creator’s great anger.”


All who walk in broken ways are trampling over the law of the Chosen One, for all broken ways go against his law.


Do not listen to their empty words and forked tongues, for the Great Spirit’s anger will be shown to the ones who follow these ways.


“If I had not come to them and represented the truth, they would not be guilty of this, but now their guilt remains.


It is things such as these that will bring down the great anger of Creator on the ones who refuse to follow his ways.


For this good story tells about Creator’s great faithfulness to do what is good and right. It is the story of faithfulness and trust from beginning to end. It is written in our Sacred Teachings, “The ones in good standing will find life by trusting in what the Great Spirit has done for them.”


Out from his mouth comes a sharp long knife to strike down the opposing nations. He will rule over them with an unbreakable iron chief’s staff. He tramples the grapes in the winepress of the fierce anger of the all-powerful Great Spirit.
