Owe no one anything but love. If you follow the trail of the law to its end, you will find love. For the one who loves others has found the law’s true meaning and purpose.
For all of our tribal law finds its full meaning and purpose in this one instruction, “Love your fellow human beings in the same way you love yourself.”
“Here is the meaning of what I have been saying: whatever good you want others to do for you is what you should do for them. This is the whole purpose of the instructions given by Drawn from the Water (Moses) and the words spoken by the prophets.
If you “love your fellow human beings in the same way you love yourselves,” as it says in our Sacred Teachings, you are doing well, for you are walking in the true meaning and purpose of the law of our Honored Chief.
When all this new regalia is in place, let the love of the Great Spirit gather all the loose threads and braid them together in unity with one another.
My aim in telling you these things is that you would walk the path of love with a pure heart, being true to what you trust in and honest to who you are deep inside.
There is a clear difference between Creator’s children and the children of the evil trickster. The ones who do not walk in a good way do not belong to Creator, nor do those who do not love the sacred family.
