Romans 1:1First Nations VersionFrom Small Man (Paul), a servant of the Chosen One, Creator Sets Free (Jesus). The Great Spirit has called me to be a message bearer, one who has been set apart to tell his good story. See the chapter |
From Small Man (Paul), chosen by the Great Spirit to be a message bearer for the Chosen One, Creator Sets Free (Jesus), and from He Gives Honor (Timothy), our spiritual brother. To the members of Creator’s sacred family who gather in Village of Pleasure (Corinth), and to all Creator’s holy people who live in the territory of Land of Sorrow (Achaia).
From Small Man (Paul), and from the spiritual brothers who are with me. To the sacred families who gather in Land of Pale Skins (Galatia). I was chosen to be a message bearer not from human beings or through human beings, but through Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One and through our Father the Creator, who brought the Chosen One back to life from the world of the dead.
From Small Man (Paul) and He Gives Honor (Timothy), sacred servants of the Chosen One, Creator Sets Free (Jesus). To all of Creator’s holy people who gather in Village of Horses (Philippi) and to the spiritual leaders and those who have the sacred task of helping others, who together watch over the sacred family.
Written down in this sacred scroll are the things the Great Spirit revealed to Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One. This great revealing was given to the ones who serve him, to show them what will soon happen. He sent his spirit-messenger to He Shows Goodwill (John), his sacred servant, to make this message known to him through signs, omens, and sacred visions.
From Stands on the Rock (Peter), a sacred servant and message bearer of Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One. To all who have taken hold of and share together with us in the way of trusting that comes from the right ways of the Great Spirit and from our Sacred Deliverer, Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One.
We all had fallen to the ground when I heard a voice speaking to me in our tribal language. “‘Man Who Questions (Saul), Man Who Questions (Saul),’ the voice called my name twice, and asked, ‘why are you pursuing and mistreating me? It is a hard and painful thing to fight against me, like a horse pushing back against the spurs.’
