When he saw the great number of people needing help, he was moved in his spirit with great compassion for them. He knew they were pushed down with no one to help and scattered about like sheep without a shepherd to watch over them.

As Creator Sets Free (Jesus) climbed out of the canoe, he saw the great crowd of people, and his heart went out to them again. He saw that they were like sheep with no shepherd to watch over them. He stayed there with them and began to teach and tell them stories about Creator’s good road.


And when he came to shore, they were waiting for him. He felt deeply for them, so he healed the ones who were sick.


Creator Sets Free (Jesus) called his followers to his side and said to them, “I have pity in my heart for all these people, for they have been with us for three days with no food. Some of them have come from a great distance, and if I send them away hungry, they might lose their strength and faint.”


He then said to the woman, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the tribes of Wrestles with Creator (Israel).”


Since the chief holy man is also a weak human being, he can take pity on those whose understanding is weak and have lost their way.


For we do not have a chief holy man who is unable to feel the same kind of pain and sorrow we feel. Even though he faced the same temptations we face, he never gave in to them or did anything wrong.


Instead, go to your own people—the lost sheep of the tribes of Wrestles with Creator (Israel).
