When he saw the Separated Ones (Pharisees) and Upright Ones (Sadducees) in the crowd watching, he cried out to them, “You nest of poisonous snakes! Who warned you to run and hide from the coming storm?

“You nest of poisonous snakes! How can you who are evil speak any good things? What is in your hearts will come out of your mouths.


and how you now wait for his Son Creator Sets Free (Jesus), the one he raised up from the dead, to return from the spirit-world above. He is the one who rescues us from the coming storm of Creator’s anger.


From the spirit-world above, Creator’s great anger is being shown to the ones who hide the truth by following their bad hearts and wrongful ways.


You nest of poisonous snakes! How will you escape the bad end of the Valley of Smoldering Fire?


The lifeblood that he poured out puts our lives back into harmony and promises us good standing with the Great Spirit. What he has done sets us free from the storm of great anger caused by our bad hearts and broken ways.


Later that same day some of the Upright Ones (Sadducees), who say that the dead do not rise again, came to Creator Sets Free (Jesus) to question him also.


Creator Sets Free (Jesus) said to them, “Be on the lookout for the yeast of the Separated Ones (Pharisees) and the Upright Ones (Sadducees).”


There is a clear difference between Creator’s children and the children of the evil trickster. The ones who do not walk in a good way do not belong to Creator, nor do those who do not love the sacred family.


Some of the Separated Ones (Pharisees) overheard what he said to the man. “Are you saying that we are blind?” they asked.


Because he trusted the One Above Us All, One Who Rests (Noah) took to heart the warning given to him by the Great Spirit and made a great wooden canoe for the safety of his family. By trusting he showed the world how terrible their ways had become. By trusting he took his place among those who, by trusting, share in the blessing of good standing with Creator.


They have known from the first, if they will admit to it, that I walked in the way of a Separated One (Pharisee), the most demanding of all our spiritual paths.


So I tell you again, stay alert! Do not forget that night and day, for three winters, I kept giving you wise counsel and warning each of you with many tears.


But some of the sacred family members who belonged to the band of the Separated Ones (Pharisees) stood up among them to make their voice heard. “The Outside Nations,” said the Separated Ones (Pharisees), “must participate in the cutting of the flesh ceremony and be required to follow our tribal law given by Drawn from the Water (Moses).”


When the chief holy man and other spiritual leaders of the Upright Ones (Sadducees) heard what was happening, the fire of jealousy burned in their bellies.


Your father is Accuser (Satan), the evil trickster. You are doing what he wants, for he was the first to take the life of another. He stands outside of the truth, because truth has no home in him. He speaks with a forked tongue and twists his words. His lies show who he truly is. He is a liar and the father of all that is false.


These tribal leaders were sent by the Separated Ones (Pharisees),


“The Separated One (Pharisee) kept his distance from the tribal tax collector and prayed out loud, ‘Creator, I thank you that I am not like the rest of humankind—like the ones who use force to get from others what they want, or who are not faithful in marriage, or who have no understanding of right or wrong. I thank you also that I am not like this tribal tax collector standing here!


When the Separated Ones (Pharisees) heard him, they shrugged their shoulders and rolled their eyes, for they loved their many possessions.


But the scroll keepers and Separated Ones (Pharisees) turned away from the Great Spirit’s plan for them, for they had refused the ceremony of Gift of Goodwill (John).


Then the Upright Ones (Sadducees), who say that there is no rising from the dead, also came to test him.


The spiritual leaders sent some of the Separated Ones (Pharisees) and the Friends of Looks Brave (Herodians) to trap Creator Sets Free (Jesus) in his words.


“Be on the lookout for the yeast of the Separated Ones (Pharisees),” he told them firmly, “and also of the Friends of Looks Brave (Herodians).”


When the Separated Ones (Pharisees) heard how he silenced the Upright Ones (Sadducees), they put their heads together and came up with a plan.


The Separated Ones (Pharisees) began to scheme against Creator Sets Free (Jesus).


When the Separated Ones (Pharisees) heard what the people were saying, they said, “No! His power over evil spirits comes from the Worthless Ruler (Beelzebul), the one who rules over all evil spirits.”


“I will say this to you, unless you have a better reputation than the scroll keepers and the Separated Ones (Pharisees), you will not find the path that leads to the Land of Creator’s good road from above.” Creator Sets Free (Jesus) then began to help the people see how the full meaning and purpose of the Law and the Prophets applied to them.


The Great Spirit cannot speak with a forked tongue! So his word of honor and his solemn promise are two things that can never be changed. This gives us, the ones who have taken shelter under his wings, brave hearts to take a firm hold on the hope he has set before us.


Then his followers came to him and said, “Do you know that what you said insulted the Separated Ones (Pharisees)?”


The Separated Ones (Pharisees) and Upright Ones (Sadducees) came again to Creator Sets Free (Jesus) to put him to the test and find something to accuse him with. “Show us a powerful sign from the spirit-world above,” they demanded, “to prove to us who you are.” Creator Sets Free (Jesus) was growing weary of their ongoing attacks, but as always he was able to answer them with great wisdom.
