and said to them, “The True Human Being must enter a time of much suffering. The elders, the head holy men, and the scroll keepers will turn their faces from me. They will have me killed, but I will come back to life on the third day.


Creator Sets Free (Jesus) then began to tell his followers that he must go to the Village of Peace (Jerusalem), where the elders, the head holy men, and the keepers of the scrolls would make him suffer many things and then kill him, and that on the third day he would return from the dead.


“Tear down this sacred lodge,” he answered, “and in three days I will raise it up again.”

Creator Sets Free (Jesus) then began to instruct his followers that the True Human Being must suffer many things. The council of elders, the head holy men, and the scroll keepers would turn their faces from him. He would then be killed, and after three days he would return from the world of the dead. He said this openly to all his followers.


They will condemn him to death and hand him over to the People of Iron (Romans). They will treat him shamefully, whip him with cords of braided cowhide, and kill him by nailing him to a tree-pole —the cross. “But remember,” he added, “on the third day he will defeat death and live again.”

As we walk the road, we are honored and dishonored. Some speak evil of us, while others speak well of us. Even though we speak the truth, some say we speak with a forked tongue.


Some of them said, “He is a true human being with a good heart.” But others were saying, “No! He is leading the crowds down a false path.”


So they began to accuse him, “We caught this man misleading our nation and telling people not to pay taxes to the government of the People of Iron (Romans). He tells the people that he is the Chosen One, a Great Chief.”


“Has he turned you from the path also?” they said.


We must put an end to his lies or his followers could take his body away and tell the people he has come back from the dead, making things worse for all of us. So we are asking that you order your soldiers to guard the burial cave.”


so he could further instruct the ones who walked the road with him. “The True Human Being will soon be taken and handed over to men who will kill him, but on the third day he will come back to life from the dead.”


Creator Sets Free (Jesus) took the twelve aside and told them again about what was coming on the road ahead. “Consider closely what I am telling you,” he reminded them. “We are on our way to the Sacred Village of Peace (Jerusalem), where all the words of the prophets about the True Human Being will come to pass.
