So let us not fall asleep as others do. Instead, we should stay sober and alert.


“Here is what I am saying to you: be prepared like the wise women in this story and always be ready, for you do not know the time of day or night that the True Human Being will appear.”

Keep your eyes wide open. Stand firm in the faith. Be brave and strong.

So keep walking the road of love. This is what is needed for the times we live in. The night is almost over. The first rays of the new day are already shining! For the day when Creator will finish setting us free and making us whole is now closer than when we first began walking this road. We must turn away from the path of darkness and put on the war garments of light.


Just like this elder, you must be ready, for the True Human Being will not come at the time you expect him to.


Stay alert and remain calm, for your opponent, the evil trickster, prowls about, roaring like a mountain lion, looking for someone to devour.


The end of all things is near, so think good thoughts and be single-minded in your prayers.


“But know this: If the elder of a family had known at what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and stopped the thief from breaking in.


“They hurried away to get more oil. But while they were gone, the groom came and all the guests went into the lodge for the wedding feast, and the gate was closed.
